Taking the truck in for repairs.

I think today is the day. I've been procrastinating, but I have no excuse not to do so today.
A nice lady spun out and rear-ended me in Montana this past summer. My car is drivable, so I didn't bother getting it fixed immediately.
I was able to buff out some of the minor scratches, but the front fender needs replacement (she was spinning and clipped me on the side).
I'll be driving a rental for about a week. I'm sure I'll be tring to find the clutch reflexively, even though the rental will be an automatic.
Anyway, wish me luck!

@TheHorse Well I'm just saying that you can fix the truck fairly easily, but hopefully you didn't get hurt in the accident that you had to get yourself "fixed". In our accident, I was ok, but Hubby got a broken rib and the year was no fun for him. By now, all the pain is gone, but it took a super long time to heal.

When our car was rear-ended, it stayed in the repair shop for 3 days just to replace the rear bumper and the tail light. The issue is we cannot use the car for 3 days.

@TheHorse nothing of that sort. We just have to wait for our car to be released.

Not being able to buy a car--can't afford the insurance---don't take this the wrong way but I LOVE stories about cars being fixed and cost!!

Hope they get it done fast. Just dont put your foot through the floor looking for that clutch.

@wolfgirl569 Glad I did not videotape my left foot stomping in futility on the floor.
