King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech is owned by the King family. After he gave the speech in 1963 King obtained rights to the speech due to the speech being used in all kinds of ways and people were selling unauthorized copies. A mere month after he gave the street he sued two different companies. His family now receives an income from the copyright on this speech. The laws say that anyone who wants to use the speech must buy a copy that is sanctioned by the King family.
Isn't this a part of our civil rights? That what we say not be misconstrued or taken out of context.
