Is it just me, or has it been slow here the past few days? I'm all caught up and just waiting for people to comment. Obviously I'm not going to wait until 6 pm for someone to comment. I will be signing off in a few.
Had to make a complaint to the post office. They left a package next to the garage door before we got the big snow. It then snowed about 6" on it; and we never knew it was there until yesterday when the snow started to melt. Fortunately it was clothing and wasn't harmed by the water and dampness. I have to call the Postmaster back tomorrow and see what he has to say since the package was there for 3-4 days. It should have been placed on the front porch.
Good night/good morning to all. Any special plans for this evening? What are you having for dinner?
I will see you again Friday morning. I will be on until about 1:30 tomorrow. Will be signing off early.

@LindaOHio Yes, it was! They were custom gold and diamond earrings we had made up in Philadelphia.

Glad nothing was damaged. They are supposed to leave a not telling where it is. I have had to complain about the mail lady we have before. She is doing better now.

That is weird. Why would they put it there? Was it too big to fit on the porch steps? Another thing I can think of is that it was accidentally delivered to the wrong house and that person put it by your garage.
Now I have no idea if it is USPS or UPS or some other delivery service but often times a delivery meant for the neighbor gets delivered to us. And then we gotta drag the boxes to the neighbors. Sometimes even food delivery people ring our bell for something the neighbors ordered and we have to tell them their house is around the corner.
The neighbors house is #19 and the entrance is around the corner. Ours is #17. If our door is between our garage and the neighbor's garage and there is no other door then clearly our door is not the right one. Why stuff gets put on our steps is beyond me. Unless these delivery people are lazy to walk around the corner or they cannot distinguish 19 from a 17.

My husband always said he was going to make a box to put on the porch for deliveries.

I've had issues with post offices, too, in the past, and that includes getting my mail opened and losing hundred dollars sent to me in a Christmas card - twice. Nothing happened in my complaint.
Could be a waste of time. If I were you, I'd just think the postman was cold and in a hurry to get home.

I wish you luck on your complaint. My complaint about the vitamins never went through. I was annoyed!
