Bleep, Bleep, Bleep, Bleep, Bleep

I can always tell when my wife has one of those gotawful Housewives shows on the TV. I am all the way back here in my man cave tapping away on the computer and all I hear is bleep after bleep after bleep. These women are simply incorrigible and terribly immature. I know a LOT of women love to watch this show, and my wife does seem to laugh a lot when she watches it. But I just find the show terribly annoying. Aside from the constant bleeping, it's just a ridiculous show of stupidity.

Sometimes they can be entertaining; but there are a lot of beeps. Ridiculousness is another show with an awful lot of beeps.

@porwest Yes, some of them are definitely staged. Gene Simmons used to stage a lot of the show when he had his own reality gig.

Definitely my wife finds them entertaining. I just find that the whole show is so over the top...of COURSE most of it is staged. It HAS to be. Otherwise...my God these people are just as shallow as people can be. And as immature as people can be.

@LindaOHio Oh, especially him. He would definitely do that. Of that rock group he was definitely the marketing guy behind it. He's a brilliant business man actually. I mean look how he took a sort of crappy rock group, gave them a schtick, and made them very popular despite their music.

Good that you have mylot here to get distracted. I know people under the same roof sharing the same TV can have different likings for shows.

So true. My wife and I are often on different ends of the spectrum all the time.

It's nothing to write home about, that's for sure. A bunch of back stabbing, over the top, screeching wenches is really all it is. I hope that was not offensive. But it was the best word I could come up with.

Don't bother tuning in. You are not missing anything, and I swear you'll lose a little bit of intelligence every single time you do.

@porwest I'm sure I would lose intelligence. Stupidity has a way of wearing off on a person.

Much of what's on TV seems a stupid show of stupidity to me.

That is probably why these days I watch so little of it anymore. I just can't bear it. Thank God there's MyLot.

I think it was Milton Berle or Henny Youngman who once joked, "Someone asked me once the secret of our long marriage. I said, we go out to eat twice a week. She goes on Tuesdays and I go on Thursdays."

You are probably right. Although, in our house I can't stand sports, but my wife is a huge fan. Go figure.
