The annual duty to the United States government is done. I did my taxes tonight. There's one thing that's great about the modern era: filing is a breeze. It took about two hours, and it took that long because I didn't use the same online service I did last year. It's good news again this year: after three years in a row of owing over $1,200 I'm due a refund. Not much, but it's still much better than paying them!!! "Happy" tax season, America! There's no big rush anymore. The IRS doesn't even start accepting returns until the last week of January.

Glad you got yours done already and are getting something back. I usually don't get my investment forms until around the 15th of February, and usually turn it all in to my accountant shortly after getting the last of my paperwork.
