January 25 - What I'm Thankful For

I realized when I got up this morning I forgot to post what I'm thankful for. Yesterday was a good day. People here have told me I have a good attitude. I don't look at the downside of life. It's easy to do that. I could go through my day bemoaning everything that's wrong. Or I can look at what I have and give God praise for all He's given me because it's perfect for that moment.
I'm thankful I stayed home yesterday. The roads were a mess with all the snow we got.
I'm thankful I spent time with you yesterday and read what is important in your life.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Legacy. I got 1.5 chapters finished before I was too tired to keep my eyes open.
I'm thankful I got my steps in yesterday. It was a challenge, but I got it done.
I'm thankful for the good night's sleep I had. I know I slept in and it felt good. I got 7.5 hours of unheard-of sleep. My normal is between 5-6 hours a night.
I'm thankful for my apartment, a place to live that keeps me warm in winter and cool in summer.
If I'm not careful, I'll get into what I'm thankful for today, but I'll save it for later. If you think about all the blessings you have in one day, they are more than you can imagine. I know I only grazed a few things I'm thankful for. I'm sure there is much more I could mention.
What were you thankful for yesterday? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Yesterday I was only thankful for actually getting some sleep, and as always my home, car, loved ones and food.

My Sunday was perfect. I spent it with my best friends. They had to go to the home depot first and there is a nursery there so I spent some money I shouldn´t buying beautiful plants. I´m happy I bought all that and do not feel guilty.

Well, I am going with the date this posted posted, so the day before was January 24. I am thankful my husband was released from the hospital and that it wasn't raining on the way home. When I was driving to pick him up, the rain came down so hard at times, it was hard to see the road and I was on the highway. Yet, when we went home, there was no rain and we had no problems on the drive back.

@just4him Yes, but now to try to change our eating habits (mostly his, I was already for meatless meals and lots of fruits and veggies), so I am finding it difficult.
