Unexpected Purchase

Are you the kind of person who go to the supermarket for a thing or two and then return home with an additional purchase?
I am sometimes but not only me. My better half went to Aldi yesterday to buy rye bread and his 80% chocolate. He returned home with another food and an electric wok.
I was surprised because of the electric wok as I don´t really need this. We had an electric wok but it is now in our home in the Philippines and I use this every time I am there. We have a normal wok here in Germany where I can cook it over the stove.
My better half is not cooking with this wok but he bought it. I don´t have a lot of space in the kitchen for this but if I would just let it pack in the box, I will surely forget about this cooking utensil. So I have to find a place for it in the kitchen.
I will use this wok in 2 hours cooking for our dinner. The problem is, I don´t have any idea what to cook for this utensil. I have to cook from scratch again with the use of wok. Maybe a stirfry?
Anyway, we´ll say what I can do. I have to be creative again. Thanks for reading. Have a nice Wednesday to all.

We have the wok for the stove too. I love to shop and normally at times would buy something extra . . . but I am trying very hard not to do that for now . . . I need to get rid of stuff more than bring anything else home! Your better half bought it - so make him cook dinner with it

@thelme55 Oh ok, well it's good to know that he does cook sometimes. So which do you like better the stove one or the electric one (I've never used an electric one). We have no more storage space for extra things in the kitchen

Is he an impulsive buyer. I remember one time, I went to Savemore to buy Baygon, I ended up buying more than I planned that day.

No, he is not an impulsive buyer @jobelbojel. He was planning a long time ago to buy an electric wok. Thank you.

I have been known to go off my list at the grocery store and get some others things I did not write down. A wok is really cool. No, I do not have one. I wonder why he bought it when you did not need it. It sounds like he gave you more work than you needed. Good luck in finding a place for it.

@Hannihar no,he is not giving me more work. He cooks sometimes when I don´t like to. He was only thinking good of me. I still remember that he bought a cake pops maker before. He bought it because he was thinking I could use it because I make cake pops for orders. He forgot I already have one and so I have double cake pops makers.
Thank you.

Why didn't you use it much @Tampa_girl7. I fried pork steaks in the wok today with Champignon sauce. Thank you.

It looks like it would come in handy especially for stir fry meals. I find my traditional frying pan not big enough when I want to stir fry something.

I always go to the store with a list but usually wind up buying things I don't intend to. I am a sucker for new products.
I hope you find something yummy to cook in your new wok.

I sometimes do but the additional item is always most of the time lesser in value than than what I had planned to buy and most of the time related to the item I bought like an accessory. I think this is a reverse, the electric wok costs way too much than the bread I suppose, perhaps you cooked something that he really liked with it, nothing to lose if you ask him.

I am a person who seldom make a list, all things I need are listed in my memory. LOL! I just pick and pick and if I see something new I pick it too but on my cart/basket I segregate most important items and tell the cashier that my budget is like this (i.e. P5k). I just leave other items that exceed to my budget. My brother in law was amazed how quick I finish shopping because my sister takes too long every time.
