I turned my glass of water on my night table.

Good morning, friends. This morning I woke up very early to the feeling of my hand hitting something hard and then the cold water on my house. The water glass had fallen (my fault) and there was even water inside the first drawer of the night table. I woke up immediately and brought lots of paper towels and a towel. In that drawer I have meds and my passport. Now the contents of the first drawer are displayed on the floor, I´m sleepy but awake and the drawer is open so that it dries up. Later on I will bring the hairdryer to finish the job. But now I haven´t decided whether to go back to sleep again or go and get a coffee. The good thing is that no water fell on the passport. See you when I clean up more

@LadyDuck It seems they are not wet. But I was more worried about the passport.

Sorry for that unwanted mess. It must have been annoying to wake up with that

@marguicha It's ok. We all are prone to making mess anytime.

At least your passport survived. How is the medicine?

I haven´t looked at it yet. The survival of the passport was enough for me.

Glad that passport didn't get wet. And Thank goodness for a blow-dryer , they have many uses.

I agree. Probably, in my case, the least use is for drying my hair

Yes. I don´t know if it would have been valid still.

Doesn't a small amount of water go a very long way when you spill it. Glad your passport missed getting wet.

It is like when you break a small glass. You find bits of glass everywhere for ages. I´m glad it is summer though. Water evaporates quickly. Even my anger does.

At least it was just water and not something messier.
