Donuts are addictive. And Dunkin Donuts have that promotion where they give you 6 for the price of 5. I am sure that they know exactly, to the last gram of sugar, that they will earn a lot even that way. But I cannot ever but a donut. I have to buy the 6 of them and eat them in a jiffy. Today, I had hardly left the supermarket bags in the kitchen when I had eaten one. Then, so that I would feel less guilty, I ate another one and declared it lunch. Now, my friends, should I eat a third donut? a snack? Tea time? Early dinner? All of them? This is what I call an addiction.

I buy donuts only once in a while. I´m too addicted to them. I ate 4 of the 6 ones and left 2 for the grandchildren who will come tomorrow.

I'd eat one more, save the 3 for dessert after dinner. I like pastries too, so I treat myself some every so often. I like treating myself too.

They opened a Dunkin' Donuts right around the corner from where I live. So far, I haven't stopped. I'm doing everything I can to lose weight. One of those would destroy it forever. I know just how good and addicting they are.

In fact, I gave in the moment I bought the donuts. Today I ate one for breakfast. Much too sweet for my taste! So I put the other 2 in a plastic bag in the fridge and will save them for my grandchildren. I´ll have to wait for a while to have such a craving again.

My favorite donut is the plain glazed donut of Krispy Kreme. My daughter loved Dunkin Donuts when she was still a girl of 5.
