Have you ever noticed that some people like to talk without actually saying anything meaningful? It's almost as if they simply like to hear the sound of their own voice! Where I come from there is a saying: An empty vessel makes the most noise - meaning that someone who likes to hear the sound of their own voice usually says nothing worth hearing. I'm sure we all know someone like that!

This is pretty common particularly among politicians. That saying is so true.

@ScotMac I think they have special classes to talk without saying nothing.

As far as politicians are concerned it's practically a part of the job description!

@ScotMac well at least I remembered. It took you long enough to migrate here. Some from them are here while others I've not seen not heard about since the demise of pp and others.

@MarshaMusselman PP is still going! Although it doesn't pay anymore there are a handful of diehards who won't let it die!

I've heard that saying often. Some people do go on and on. It's as if silence scares them.
