Ah yes, Friday

We have been having "spirit week" because the Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl. Today we wear red.
This is also Birthday Week for Kansas. We were to have had Kansas Day activities on Wednesday but had a snow day instead. So we had it yesterday.
My day will just be regular. My kiddo in the morning has no clue about Kansas Day or anything else, but that is okay.
My doctor sent me out a prescription to help me deal with this cough, so I sleep better. That means hubby sleeps better as well.
It is time for me to pack my lunch, so I will see you later.

Our school counselor is a die hard fan. She and her husband bought an air port shuttle, had it wrapped or painted in KC Chiefs logo and colors. They drive it to all the home games. There are shelves in it for their grill and such. Friday she brought it to school and toured all the kids in it and took pictures of them by class with it. It was a lot of fun. Her husband, meanwhile was flying to the Superbowl.

I did have a good day. When my little guy got agitated due to changed routine I sat in a big comfy chair and read him a story. I wish all the problems were that easily solved. My afternoon kid got to toss around a football for PE.
