Call From Friend in Abusive Relationship / myLot

Got a surprising phone call today from an old friend. She was asking my advice. Many of my friends often do this. I am hesitant to tell anyone my opinion. But if I am asked, depending on the friend, I will sometimes offer my advice. This time I did. She told me about her current situation. In an abusive relationship. She is divorced with two children. Her current boyfriend is both verbal and physically abusive. I had no idea. I told her not to walk, but run away from this man. Even if it means moving. Whatever she has to do to protect herself and her children. I hope she will listen and get out while she can.

She already knows that leaving that abusive relationship is the answer. But sometimes it's easier said than done. I really hope she heeds your advice and gets away from that d*ckhead.
