Just read this interesting piece about a toidy. A scenic rest stop has become the newest landmark in Norway. The rest area is located along the Norwegian Scenic Route. The route offers amazing views of the fjords and the open sea. It has become a popular place to watch the northern lights in the winter and in the summer to see the midnight sun.
Another reason this spot is so popular is that it has one of the most beautiful public toilets in the world. At this rest area, you’ll find marble benches to sit upon and amphitheater step taking you down to the water. Next to all, this is a wave-shaped public restroom.
It is made of frosted glass and concrete and at night it appears to glow in the dark when the lights are on. During the day you get the most spectacular views. The rest area is named for the WW II memorial that is located at this site. It commemorates the Norwegian “Uredd” submarine. The name of the submarine translated to “fearless”. During the war, it sank and 42 sailors lost their lives.

I'm sorry the sailors lost their lives; but this looks like a very scenic spot to stop and "take care of business"! :-)

You can see out of these windows, but not in?
That pictures looks lovely. I would spend hours just there.

Wow, an impressive structure befitting a tribute to the WW II heroes.
Our rest areas in the U.S. are definitely lacking in such picturesque beauty.
