Just got two tickets to the Jagged Little Pill musical

I just got two tickets to the Jagged Little Pill musical for March 11th. Since I got them through Audience Rewards the cost per ticket was just $54 for orchestra seats and there were no fees, so I only paid $108. That's a pretty good deal. I did have to spend 3,000 showpoints but that is what they are there for.
We usually go for an evening show but this was for a matinee one. There were no tickets available for the evening show. Maybe that's good because we can make a whole day of it. Of course, that means an early wake up. On days off hubby never wakes up early. Hopefully, that won't be a problem.
Hubby's birthday is on March 9th, so this will be a nice way to celebrate I think. A matinee show, then dinner somewhere nice in Manhattan. Maybe we will even grab something before the show, so we don't have to waste time having breakfast at home.

Cool beans! I'm glad you were able to get tickets AND that hubby will be coming with you...even better. My birthday is in March too. Interesting. Is he a PIsces?

He doesn't know yet that we are going. Well I did post on FB that I just got tickets. But I didn't tag him and he may not even see the post. Will tell him tonight. Just gotta remember that the show is a 2 pm show and not an evening one.

This will be a nice way to celebrate your hubby's Birthday, and not that expensive either:) Tell him far enough ahead of time, so he can ask for that day off

March 11th is a Wednesday. He is always off Wednesdays until he has to go in because of a customer appointment. The tickets are only $108 but add on the dinner, the total outing will be probably around $250 or so.

Yeah. I was looking to get seats for February through telechargeoffers. They had tickets for $59 (not in Orchestra) but once you add on the fees a ticket comes to almost $73. So, decided I'd rather wait until March to see it and spend less.

Just got an email with the seat assignment. I checked to see where those seats are and it shows the regular cost of those tickets is $149-$189. I guess price depends on the date. Wow!
