Pardon for the title, it is jumbled. Yesterday's number were 361 dead and today it is 425. The contaminated yesterday was 17,205 and today it is 20,438. All inside China.
It seems that the numbers are rising faster. Figures are from France 24 news channel.

@louievill you are right with the term viral, the real viral thing. I just hope that the growing numbers will be confined to China and the other countries would not get big numbers.

@Alexandoy YES! I have seen this morning, the poor doctor is now contaminated. The two Chinese in Italy are in very poor conditions.

@Alexandoy May be this one is another, he is in the hospital, he said he warned the other doctors and the government told him to stop talking about the virus.

The so called experts are now at a loss on what to say. Did you see the news about the first Chinese doctor who proclaimed that it is a new virus? He was jailed and the government made sign a disclaimer to what he posted in social media that the virus is not true.

Yes, the situation is still serious. We still stay at home. We don't go out if it is not necessary. Hopefully less people will be infected and this is how this situation can be controlled. I hope the weather will get warmer and probably it will let the virus go away.

Now that sounds more scary. That to me is how you should report it though. Just give people the numbers. I am sure they will fix it but sad so many infected and dying.

My God this is scary. How is it spreading so fast if it is only spread by fluid. They are saying it is not airborne.?

@RebeccasFarm I don't wear a face mask, not yet, but I am careful in touching things when I am in a public place.

It is airborne for sometime like a few minutes only when the patient coughs or sneezes. But the virus remains alive for 12 hours if it lands on metal and 6 hours on other surfaces. So if the virus is on the table and you touch that table you may get infected.

To be honest, I am not alarmed because the numbers are only from China. But if the number reaches 100,000 contaminated people then that would be risky for China to control.

@Alexandoy We have 3 confirmed cases here in India who came from China. They are reported to be in isolation and stable. Two aircrafts have rescued Indian people from Wuhan and brought them here. They are kept in isolation for few weeks and are being screened. There are about 400 people rescued. Hope none are injected.

It means the transmission is really fast to transfer from one person to another. But good thing is that it is contained in China and no local infections are happening in our place. We do have one case but so far there are no additional cases but I think our suspected cases are rising too most came from abroad.

@rsa101 yes, it is not alarming because that 123 is distributed to countries worldwide. I was not able to note down the scores of the countries.

@Moon24 that was what happened in China. Contaminated people did not show any symptoms so they did not know that they have been spreading the virus already.

Even the Chinese in Beijing are getting worried. Hongkong citizens are pushing for the lockdown so the Chinese in the mainland couldn't go to Hongkong. But the boundary remains open.

As of the newspaper today, there's more than 100 suspected contaminated people under observation. But so far there remains only 1 confirmed contaminated.
