Trusting The Wrong People / myLot

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I got up expecting sun because that's what the forecast was. Instead it's raining and certainly a very gloomy day. I put my trust in the weather guy and look what happened....he was wrong! I'm disappointed that's a given.

So, it's looks like an inside day and not a repeat of yesterday which was beautiful for February. My plans for today.... I got new rugs and curtain for my bathroom so I'm going to clean the bathroom and put out the new stuff. I'm doing my bathroom in navy, white and gray. The walls are white, towels navy and rugs are gray. I think it will look nice and I have some pretty pink artificial flowers on the side of my tub. I think the flowers will add just enough color. But first....it's coffee time! The phone started ringing earlier than usual this morning so I'm up a bit earlier. Those robo calls are a nuisance. Enjoy your day my friends (whatever you have planned).

Ah, I do loathe when the weatherman is mistaken. We are to expect rain off and on today here. That color scheme sounds really pretty. The walls of our bathroom are a lime green. It's the original color of the bathroom. We painted one of the bathrooms a different greenish blue color, but this one has stayed the same.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I think even a grey would work with lime green, depending on the shade of grey.

The forecast here in Santa Fe is almost always wrong. I stay glued to it anyway, lol. I'm always watching for snow, because I love it. It's snowing here off and on this morning. Makes the air so fresh and clean. I don't mind the cold when it's not windy. Enjoy your new bathroom decor. I love getting new things like that! I found a beautiful silk pothos plant on Wayfair. The most lifelike I've ever seen. I was going to put it on my new coffee table, but it was larger than I thought. So it's on the top shelf of my plant shelves in the sitting room. It's perfect, can't reach real plants to water up there and I'm paranoid about ladders these days.

@Marilynda1225 I gave up a long time ago trusting the weather people. I just go out on the porch and see how the weather is at that time. Sounds like a plan for a gloomy day outside. Sounds very interesting. Can we see it after your work is done? I hope you enjoyed your day inside after from the gloomy weather outside.

I finally decided to redecorate without having to paint the entire room. It looks pretty now and I was getting tired of the same old sage green I've had for years.
