The mess in Iowa

Wow, I was just reading about this Iowa Caucus thing. Now I am no expert on the whole politics thing but sure seems it tells us something. They had 4 years to get ready for this and they screwed it up.
They want to run government healthcare but they can't even run their own elections? They are worried about Russia hacking the election but they use an app that they obviously didn't test to run their elections?
State Democratic party officials announced that due to “quality control” issues, release of the result would be indefinitely delayed. Quality Control issues? Doesn't seem there was any quality in using this app.
If you look a little closer what we know now is that front runner, Biden came in 4th with the lead in this going to Sanders and Buttigieg coming in second. Something else we need to think about is that the app was made by a company called Shadow which is partially funded by Buttigieg campaign.
Oddly, they had 4 years to prepare for this like I said but the app was just put together 2 months ago. When the state party chairman was asked about the app, he “declined to provide more details about which company or companies designed the app, or about what specific measures have been put in place to guarantee the system’s security”.
This all seems like smoke and mirrors to put out what information they want to put out and give an excuse to come up with the numbers they want.

The whole thing is a funny farce. So Mayor Pete's campaign partially funded the app? I guess it's not conflict of interest or anything like that because they are good righteous Dems unlike those nasty Reps who if by God had a partial interest in a similar app would need to be immediately convicted.

@Bensen32 Right now I have to disagree with you. The republican party currently is strongly united and getting a lot done for the American people. I'd have agreed with you a few years ago. I would have agreed with you before Trump became the nominee. But right now? The republican party has it together like they have not in YEARS.
It will shift again in the future at some point. But right now it simply cannot be said.

I think it can be manipulated. There are a lot of hackers around who can hacked it and then manipulate the real result
