My clothes are laid out, my house keys are ready, my towel is prepared, and my free yoga mat, courtesy of my favorite store, is set to go!
I’m off to my first yoga class in ages!
It’s going to be held in our clubhouse, and I’m excited!
See you later!

@DianneN I am told that during these silent moments in yoga, there are also often sounds of people passing gas too
. Well, probably just a natural thing that happens when you make your body do certain poses
.
Yah, my mother in law definitely knew she went into the wrong class. She is mostly healthy but recently her lower back has been hurting - so she wanted to take yoga for that reason too.
I would take beginners too - it's been a while for me - this stuff has to be built up. I think I last took it in my early 30s. I never ever ever got up to those advanced pretzel poses!
Hope you weren't too sore . . . but you are active anyway, so maybe it wasn't so bad

Yes, I know we’d have fun, although there was a lot of silent moments except for hearing people exhaling.
Omg! That must have been awful for her.
My class was for beginners, since I forgot so much of everything. It’s more Ying than Yang for now, but it wasn’t totally easy.
I’m going to be sore tomorrow, but I plan on keeping it up weekly. It’s good for my back and flexibility.

@much2say OMG!
.
I will pray that doesn’t happen to me, or that will be the last class I ever take.
My chiropractor recommended that I take it up again for my lower back after I pulled it out last May. I hope it helps.
I was surprised to find that I wasn’t sore at all. I thought I would be for sure.

@DianneN OH well done. Will you be doing it daily at the club or just when it is on. I guess it is something you can also do at home on your own?

@garymarsh6 I will do it every Thursday with the class.
I do go to the gym, walk, bike ride, swim, and play golf and tennis, too.

@DianneN You'll have to find some place to take yoga in CT.

Enjoy and I am glad you posted this, our library I just saw is offering Gentle Yoga, I think on MOnday's. I have to check on that and go. The county has it too, but you have to pay 10 bucks and it is further away for me. I have to write myself a note and check on the day and time for the liibrary.

What a great class, I've always wanted to try yoga and Tai Chi.

I also tried Tai Chi, but it was too difficult to learn in the short amount of time I had.
