An unsung Kanas City Chiefs player great deed for animal shelters

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi is being called a hero in the Kansas City area since not only did their football team win Super Bowl LIV by beating the San Francisco 49ers to earn their second Super Bowl title in 50 years, Nnadi kept his promise to pay the adoption fees for all of the animal shelters in the area.
The project is being called a success since on Monday after the football season came to a close, lots of families went to the local animal shelters to adopt cats and dogs to be part of their families for years to come.
Sure the National Football League does have a few rotten apples who play football in their ranks due to them voicing their opinion of controversial issues which the majority of the fans find offensive.
It is just a shame that the good deeds from some of the football players is not on the front page of the sports news.
The adoption fees of adopting an animal in Kansas City cost around $150 dollars a pop. With Derrick paying the adoptions fees in Kanas City, cats and dogs will be coming to a loving family who can afford to adopt their favorite pet now.

That is true since I get in trouble with fans of sports superstars by saying in jest "Ah give him a Brownie point." They call me out as a "whiner". I tell them in return "I am a Catholic from Panama. What is your excuse?"

That is wonderful and look at how the doggy in the photo is smiling. I am looking to adopt another cat but have to save up the $50 for the adoption. To some, that is not much but every penny counts for me and I so want a furry friend. I wish I knew someone who could pay that fee for me right away

The same thing wanting to adopt a dog from an animal shelter. The adoption fee is too stiff for me to give up my Burger King lunches.

@kepweng The reason I do not go to adoption centers for animals is that it is expensive not to mention hard to adopt a cat or dog and leave the other pet behind.
