Diary Friday 31st January 2020 A bill paying day that cut my bank account to ribbons. Diary Saturday1st February 2020 Even more bills to pay. Diary Sunday February 2020 I returned my library books as they were due today. Diary Monday 3rd February 2020 I expected to attend a poetry event at the local library but just an hour before it started, and minutes before I set off to go there, the event was cancelled. Diary Tuesday 4th February 2020 A job search activity day. Diary Wednesday 5th February 2020 A trip to Leyland and Chorley, initially for a potential voluntary work training course but it only applies to people working in areas too far for me to travel to. After the rather dull presentation, I went looking at pubs in the area. Diary Thursday 6th February 2020 Another job search day. Nice phone call with a friend arranging details of my birthday meal for Sunday. Diary Friday 7th February 2020 I went to the book club group meeting which was very lively, and we discussed Domenico Starnone's Ties which I have reviewed on Mylot. After the club I got train tickets for my trip to Manchester, used the library and did some shopping. I topped up my phone for the first time since Christmas too. Arthur Chappell
