I Had A Girl's Night Out.

I lied, I'm coming back for one more post before the Gratitude Challenge lol. This one is going to be a bit lengthy.
I may have mentioned in a previous post that I was going out tonight, but I can't remember if I mentioned it or not lol. But I did go out with my two sisters and best friend, as we all needed a little girl's night out. :)
It was between dinner at Ihop and Chili's, and Chili's won. Yay! I've only been to Chili's twice, but I love that restaurant. :) I did the 3 for $10 special - a fountain drink, appetizer and entree (you have to choose from a list, but you can choose from several options). My fountain soda was a Sprite. It was going to be a Dr. Pepper, but I was a little car sick because of being on my phone (my bad), so I decided on Sprite instead. For my appetizer, I chose chips and salsa, which I shared with the group (my younger sister got nachos and also shared). For my entree, I ordered the original chicken crispers (with Ranch instead of BBQ sauce), creamy mashed potatoes and sweet corn on the cob. It was sooo good, especially the sides lol. I had a few chicken crispers left over, so I bought them home. I'll eat them for lunch if nobody else wants them (as I don't mind someone else eating them).
For the record, my stomach felt better once I ate, but then I overate, so oops. I don't go out to restaurants like this often though, so I wanted to treat myself.
After dinner, we went to Giant, where I bought my younger sister and I a hot chocolate from Starbucks (my older sister and best friend didn't want one). It's been cold and windy here today (and rainy, but it didn't rain while we were out), so I felt it was necessary. I also picked up a few small things of yogurt. I think I got cherry, strawberry banana and French vanilla. With what I already bought recently, that makes six of them. :) My sister also bought me this strawberry banana smoothie type drink (in a bottle), but I can't remember the brand, and I don't feel like going to check right now.
We also stopped by Green Valley Marketplace, and my stomach was starting to feel a little icky, so I picked up a bag of peppermints. Peppermint settles my stomach.
Once my sister dropped my older sister and me off, I crashed on the couch for a while, and now here I am. I'm working on a Fiverr order (unless my client responds to my question about it waiting until Saturday night or Sunday morning), and then I'm going to bed.
Welp, I'm gonna wrap this up. I'll be back soon for the Gratitude Challenge, and I won't be posting anything else before then. Take care, everyone. :)

Sounds like a really nice time out! Sounds like really tasty food too. I haven't been to a Chili's in over 6 years!

@tammys85 I am glad it was a nice time out! And maybe sometime, it's just a 45 minute drive away to get to one.

Treating yourself is always necessary.
Glad you felt better while out. Before not feeling good again.

Thanks! I'm trying not to overdo it, as it's tax season for me and I have to pay, but $10 for a meal isn't bad at all, and it's not like we do this often.
Thank you! My stomach was bugging me this passed Thursday night until Saturday night. It was kind of annoying. I think I'm okay now though, or at least I hope I am.

@Courtlynn Right, and we could all use a treat once in a while. Maybe we'll have another girl's night out after tax season.

@tammys85 exactly, that's why it's a treat. Even doing it once a month wouldn't be bad
