You wouldn't get me out of this library hotel in Wales!

There is a hotel in Northern Wales in the UK that houses a collection of 150,000 books. These books were once owned by William Gladstone, a UK politician. He wanted people to be able to enjoy his books and that these books allow for reflection, intelligent discussion and the furtherance of the written word. Today you can stay in one of the 26 rooms and perhaps qualify for a cheaper stay depending on several factors. If you are a member of the clergy, a student, or a member of the Society of Authors and Writers' Guild of Great Britain you can enjoy 20% off. If you'd like to stay longer, you can negotiate a cost that would work for you. The collection itself is free to use.
Gladstone's Library has plenty to offer! Here are a few facts about the origins of the Library and collections.

That looks quite interesting. I think I've only been to south Wales, not north. Flintshire (which is where this library stands) neighbours the English county of Cheshire (where I've been once or twice). I would love to visit this library - we always go away for my husband's birthday and he'd be in his element there!

I've heard that Wales is quite beautiful. I've seen some footage of it when I watched a series about homes in Wales, and it definitely looks like quite the quaint place to spend a weekend.

I've seen video of Wales before and it seems like quite a quaint little place to visit. The library looks as if it would be nice to explore, and there's even a little eatery on the premises.

Ah yes, I'd stay atleast a month I think. I'd want to explore every nook and cranny, and also the town around it.

A friend of mine sent me a link about it on facebook, and I couldn't resist looking it up for myself. It's affordable at 65 GBP per night.

I would not mind staying at a place with nothing but books or a place to get ebooks and they are all free

As far as I understand, these are all older volumes, but I'd still love to peruse them. Plus, Wales is beautiful!

I've not been to a library in a long time, but I love them. I love reading and I love history, so I'd love to experience both of these in one place.
