It was a good day today. We got out of the house before it started pouring and had enough time before the first appointment to pick up medicine at drug store. That left more time to grab some lunch in between appointments. Quick lunch at Burger King (I am really starting to hate BK). The meat doesn't even taste like meat anymore and flame broiled? Nah. It is pretty tasteless. But only 40 minutes to get in and out and only other choice was Taco Bell and my mother doesn't particularly like the Bell. We got mom's CT scan done next and were back one the road before 3 pm. I decided to stop at the optical place and get my new glasses ordered. I need them for driving and don't want to get a ticket. Although it is close because I see better without my glasses most of the time now. Hoping my eyesight will get better next time I have my eyes checked. There were very few cars there so I pulled in. Only two customers and two sales associates so I didn't have to wait long. I picked out new frames, told her what I wanted and almost fell out of the chair with the total. It was $101.xx. I think this is the cheapest pair of glasses I have bought since I have been wearing glasses! The shop at my doctor's office is highway robbery. I will never get glasses there again. I worked on notifications and doing some reading when I got home and during the LSU - MO basketball game. We pulled off a win, which was nice! MO played hard!
