It is never the same when it comes to quantity as earlier we used to get a lot. But this year we got a good price. When birds come in flocks and attack the pepper vines we know it is time to harvest it. There is a process involved but happy we could sell it

So you have a pepper farm? That is the black pepper I assume.

@allknowing a farm was on my mind because of what I understand that you are selling your harvest so that means you have a lot of pepper vines.

@allknowing Those are good to eat, even if you do not sell them, it's great to have them for your personal use.

Oh! Good to know that you have pepper also in your garden. Spices are good cash crops and fetch good prices. Out of curiosity, who are your buyers??

Supply and demand determines price, it's good you got a good price. Birds and aphids were our problems when we use to plant chili pepper

@allknowing birds in nature were designed to spread the seeds that's why their brains have no receptor for capsaicin, it's fascinating how they are unaffected by pepper hotness acid similar to pepper spray.
