What Will Happen to Those Can Openers?

I'm curious if can opener has still has place in our kitchen, especially now that most of the canned products available come in an easy-to-open form and it's like every manufacturing companies seems to follow.
Do you think its future is close to becoming obsolete?

I still seem to find plenty of use for my can opener, although I use an electric one.

@ZedSmart I was once cut by the easy to open canned sardines... I think they must improve it. It is not yet perfect...

I can't afford those more advance can openers. we bought one few months ago but it broke later. Those canned openers shouldn't phase out.
