What do you do with a snow day?

So far I have taken a half hour nap. I have combined ingredients for granola and it is toasting slowly in my oven.
It is cold outside so I know I will be baking a lot of things.
I will drink hot drinks all day.
I worked on the pantry a bit.
Since this week is the end of the pay period, I requested "sick leave" for the snow day today.
It seemed a good day to wash my coat, since I was not going out in it today. I do have another winter coat should I need it.
In general it is just a putter around day.
Oh, and I get to be on myLot more today.

Sounds like you have your snow day all figured out. We haven't gotten any significant snow yet this winter to require a snow day. It's more like rainy days here lately

I just got back home from my dentist appointment, it was a piece of cake. The snow plow trucks were working overtime, to clear the roads this morning. The snow has pretty much stopped. Driving in Michigan after it snows, it's just another day!

I think they closed or delayed schools here due to the extreme snow or the routes being muddy and hard to get around in buses.

One thing I don`t like about winter times is the cold weather outside and the snow around. Good thing it is winter here but no snow only cold weather

Snow days for me are the same as every other day. Watching tv and doing whatever needs to be done around the house, and go out if need be.

Yesterday I could stay in. Today, Friday, is work. At least so far they have not cancelled school. It is not snowing, just miserably cold.
