Cloudy and Brisk Thursay!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to throw up a quick discussion here. The rain is gone for today anyway and we are left with a cloudy and gloomy day with temperatures in the 50's. Tonight we drop back into the mid to high 30's. We are fixing to take off to go to Baton Rouge for an afternoon appointment form my mom. I would cancel if but she needs her medications refilled. I hate the way this new medical system works. You have to actually GO to the doctor to get a prescription authorized for refilling. It's all a money making/laundering theme and I hate it. I will put up another post about this later today concerning one for me. I'll be back later today. I hope everyone is having good weather. I know the folk in the north are bombarded with snow and very cold temperatures. Stay indoors and keep warm and cozy! Others are dealing with rain. Have a good one everyone! Photo Credit: Pixabay

There are some medical groups who now do doctor visits and refill prescriptions via computer. It would be nice if you didn't have to drive to Baton Rouge all of the time.

Hope the trip goes smooth. Thats what most of medical is anymore. A way to get money. Not bad here right now. A little above freezing. But that changes tonight.

Hope your day went well with your mom. I didn’t realize that about prescriptions. I just call them in for a refill. Then again, I do go for checkups every six months. Tomorrow will be a very exciting day for you and your husband!

He has been enjoying it so far! He did have to go help a friend this morning that is Chief of Police in one of the towns where he does their training. He had a unit that needed to be put I the shop but didn't one to leave just one person on patrol. It's a small town, but still you never know what is going to happen. So we had to deal with the alarm clock this morning. I hope we don't again anytime soon!

She had a dr. appointment also. When she just needs meds picked up I get hubs to pick up on the way home. Now we will have to be combining out trips since tomorrow is his last day to work!

In Australia, we now have to go to the doctor to get repeats. I suppose it's a good thing in some cases but mostly there is no need.

That is how I feel about medicine that you have been on and is a routine part of your lift. It is a waste of your time and dr's time because he could be seeing someone who is sick.

It wasn't bad at all. Got in and out at dr's office and since we were early got the meds before the dr. apt. and headed on to S. Baton Rouge for CT Scan.
