February 16 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening. It's been a good day today. The sun is about to set on a beautiful Sunday. Our high for today was 28 F. I don't know if it got that high. Right now it is 26 F. I know I haven't been here since I left for church this morning. I said yesterday, it doesn't take long to get back to writing, which is what I've been doing most of the afternoon. Not on Vendetta, though I will be working on that too in the next few days.
What I'm thankful for today.
This being Sunday, I'm thankful for the privilege to go to church and worship as I please. This morning's service was awesome, and they started streaming the service, so if I can't make it for some reason, I can watch it live through the church website. 
Though the number of times I haven't been in church is limited. I might have missed twice last year. I know of once for sure.
I'm thankful for food. My lunch was great. Though I didn't have much, so snacks were in order and I have plenty to choose from. I also stopped at the store on the way home from church and bought bananas. Three bunches, one green. They won't all ripen at the same time, and if it happens, I can make more banana bread.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on New Horizons - Predators and Blue Fire. I don't need to worry about my word count on that book, though I did increase it today and made corrections, now that I have a map of the planet worked out. My son will be doing the official map for the series.
I'm thankful for the nap I got shortly after I got home from church.

I am thankful for the gentleman who came to cut the lawn today. Not to mention I am enjoying writing my fan fictions on Archive Of Our Own based on the passing of Richard Grayson's parents in the circus accident.

Wow, it's so cold where you are! Common sense says it would be, but it makes me feel like our 50 degree weather was downright balmy. I am thankful I was able to go to a new church today. My friend wanted to find a new one so I said I would go with her. The sermon spoke to my heart, but the music was so loud it gave my friend a headache. But as long as our hearts were touched then it was time well spent.

Great things to be grateful for Valerie. Although cold in the 30s, I'm glad it didn't snow and the sun was out. I'm grateful that my weekend headache disappeared and that everyone thanked me--even my priest--for bringing fresh murcotts straight from Florida, courtesy of my dad's annual delivery.

It's good they have a way of you watching incase you have to miss for some reason.
I'm thankful for the food I've had and am about to have today, as always. As well as getting my tickets last night.
