February 21 - What I Am Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. The weather turned nice for the first time since the Arctic descended on us. We had a high of 32 F, 16 degrees warmer than yesterday. I'm thankful I got out of the apartment, even if all I did was take out the trash. At first, I thought it was snowing out of a blue sky, but it was only the wind blowing the snow from the roof. I'm thankful I stopped in to talk to Meg in the office and I met the new manager, Julie. She's very nice. Meg was happy to see me as I haven't been out of the apartment to see her in two weeks. I usually stop in the office every Thursday when I get home from rock painting. I'm thankful I got my steps in for the day. I feel like getting another thousand in to compensate for today's appetite. So, it's going to be a little high tomorrow. It can't be helped. Maybe I do need potatoes after all. I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on New Horizons - Predators and Blue Fire. I didn't do a lot, but even a little bit is headway. It might be time to get back to work on Vendetta. I didn't go to the pool or do laundry today with the wind chills in the negatives this morning. I called my son and told him I would be over tomorrow. I don't have a choice. It's now or never for clean clothes. I also decided to go with premium Avast antivirus. I'm on a 60-day free trial. So far, I'm not seeing any advantage. I can cancel at any time in the next 60 days and not be charged. I think I'll be doing that. I know one day isn't very long. I try it out for a few days. I've had Avast for many years and love it. I've always had the free option. Okay, that's been my day. How was your day? What are you thankful for? Time for me to get to bed. I'll be back in the morning before I leave to get laundry done. Temp tomorrow is supposed to be 36 F. We're going to have a real heatwave for the next few days. Thanks for reading.
