He was born in the San Francisco Bay area on February 24, 1955. He dropped out of college, only attending Reeds College for about 18 months. He studied typography and the different typefaces like serif and sans serif. This largely influenced the font of Apple products. When he was in the eighth grade he was offered a summer job at Hp after calling Bill Hewlett to ask him for some parts he needed for a school project. In the mid-1970s Jobs worked for Atari as a technician. Steve Wozniak did a lot of the work on the design of the game, Breakout and was only paid a few hundred dollars for his work while Jobs got the credit. There was a lot of complaining about his lack of hygiene and he was given a shift where he wouldn't be around a lot of people due to this. He never showered and walked around barefoot.
There are many more patents associated with the Jobs name than just iPad, iPhone, and MacBook. Being the lead inventor for over 30 products and has over 300 patents to his name. He was the inventor of desktop computers, laptops, keyboards, mice as well as packaging and the glass staircase that is inside some of the Apple retail stores.
In 1985 Jobs was fired from Apple. This was the company he had helped to create but, after a disagreement on advertising and the Apple II he was let go. He did come back as CEO in 1997.
Steve Jobs actually was against third-party apps on the iPhone. He felt they didn't have the bandwidth to figure out all the complexities that would go into policing such an endeavor.
These geniuses are a bit loopy I think.

Well often genius people have some habits that many people detest.
They often are ignored by others at times, but that does not puts them off. They pursue their interests and excel in that.

@celticeagle As to the movie, Steve Jobs seemed to be an angry person and perhaps it was not so pleasant to work with him.

@celticeagle Politics is complicated. Only the most manipulative person in the world can survive politics. I think I’m lucky that I have never gotten involved in any office politics. I left before it got to me.
