In Circulation but not of so much Use?

This is our country's smallest denomination of money. Aside from having the smallest in value, it also comes the smallest in size. In photo is the 5 cents coin we have.
The coins are in circulation but I think not so much of use.In groceries, prices always come in odd. And usually when you have 5 cents change the cashier will no longer give that to you or either the customer wouldn't accept. That's the case.
Here, we have this convenience store that seems never runs of smaller coins. They always give you your change. This is where my smallest denomination of coins came from. I put it in a small jar and keep it piling up.

I don't know what to do with them so I put them in the garbage bag.

I do the same with my change. Although here we always get out change and very few people refuse it. It's still money no matter the lower value. People DO tend to toss their pennies into parking lots. I find them everywhere and scoop up every single one I find.
