Took the day off work

I had taken the day off today for two reasons. They called for a snow storm for today and I wanted to avoid driving in the snow and of course it didn't even really snow at all. The second, I had a personal day that I needed to use up or lose it, so I went ahead and used it. Of course the snow storm that they said we were going to get 6-8 inches of snow and we didn't even get an inch of snow. Again, they talked of this huge snow storm and we got nothing. Not sure why it is lately that they are always over stating these storms that never amount to anything. I was able to go get some running around that I needed to do. Now I wont have as much to do this weekend. I also to the day as a personal day since I would lose out on the pay. Since my last day is Friday I would have to use it or lose it so of course I used it. I used my two sick days in January. With vacations day I will get paid out for those so I will get an extra 2 days on my last check. Hope you all are having a good day.
