Maybe I will go tomorrow after the gym. I'm definitely nervous about coronavirus (CORVID-19) and worried about social distancing. Japan has closed schools for a month. That could happen here too.
So what is on my list? Cereal, canned tuna, mayonnaise, more flour and yeast, powdered milk, onions, potatoes, olive oil, rice, more pasta, more pasta sauce, Parmesan cheese, club soda, shredded mozzarella, and paper towels. I'll probably get more frozen vegetables and canned fruit too. These are all things that I regularly use except for powdered milk and canned fruit. (I usually eat fresh fruit)
These ingredients will allow me to enjoy cereal and milk, tuna sandwiches (on homemade bread), pasta and sauce, homemade pizza, French onion soup, as well as protein in the freezer with frozen veggies and rice.
I hope that things don't come down to being stuck inside for days or weeks but I plan to be ready if they do.

I'm glad you will be prepared. We have plenty of food. My husband is a food hoarder.

I wish I could get powdered milk in a big box like I did when my daughter was little. It was a staple in my house then. I don't know what to think. My hubby is a social worker in the welfare system. That makes him pretty vulnerable to all kinds of illnesses- like you in the school system.

If the schools are finally closed down for a month, you will be prepared:) My favorite cold cereal is wheat chex, I love those Ralston cereals!
