Before Grand Meadow Minnesota bus driver Glen Davis passed away at age 88, he had a look at the casket where he would be buried in thanks to his niece suggesting to the funeral director Jim Hindt that she could paint a casket with the colors of the school bus that her late uncle rode for 55 years accident free.
When Glen saw what the casket that looked like the school bus that he drove students to and from in the Grand Meadow area, he cried tears of joy not because he realized that he was going to pass away one day..
Glen nearly cried because the impact and lives that he touched in his community meant that he was loved for doing his work of transporting students to and from school safely.
Even though Glen has passed away, he is being loved by his community for just being one of us in life who did his job for love of his community.
It goes to show all of us that we do not have to be an entertainer or sports star to be given a great farewell.

Glen is now a happy man that his work as a bus driver was rewarded with a casket as his tribute for his 55 years of service.
