When did the change happen?

I felt a wave of nostalgia today and started reading my old posts! It's been almost three years since my last post, before returning to mylot on January. I never delete old discussions so every memory and every post is still here. Mylot is my memory box! I realized that I have changed a lot, I can't define it maybe I became more serious! And obviously I was eating a lot of spaghetti bolognese and omelettes back then! I didn't realize when these changes happened, all of these memories seem so distant! Do you ever compare yourself today with the old you?

It's nice that you kept all your old posts and can go back and see the changes you've made. There are days when I wish I could go back to a younger me

Oh yes, I would enjoy going back any time! I wouldn't change much though, everything good and bad makes us who we are today.

When I returned a few days ago, I started reading my old posts. I realized that I was an active member of mylot in 2011, having a short return in 2015. It is natural that I changed a lot since then, and so has my condition.

@besweet Yes, I am very proud. I never imagined that so many things will happen and that I will grow as a person so much.

Did you feel proud of what you have achieved? I think through the old posts you have access to your good times and the sad times and it's good to remember our past.

I'm surprised sometimes when I come across an old post. Some I have absolutely no recollection of having written. It's a funny feeling.

Yes I felt the same! Some posts I didn't remember them at all, but I did remember the moments I was describing.

Oh, yes I have compared my old me and my new me. Very strange how I have changed from a shy and naive girl to a woman who speaks what she thinks as she gets older. I have read my old diary.

The diary is more personal and can give you a better idea for sure. I am glad to hear that you became stronger and more confident.

It's very interesting indeed. I didn't go to the beginning of my posts because it was a very strange feeling.

@nela13 Yes that also! Some of them I should delete probably because they belong to the past. But I prefer to keep them as a reminder.

I don't understand the changes to be honest, but when I started reading the posts it felt like I had a different way of thinking. I guess the changes are not clear because they happen gradually.

We have evolved through the years for sure. I think our experiences make us who we are today, and because we share many experiences here it is a good indication of our life progressing. I am glad to hear that you are proud of your progress and yourself!

I haven’t read any old posts. I’m afraid to. lol I’m always shocked when I see photos of my younger self and wonder where did I go wrong.

It's an interesting memory trip, I strongly suggest it! I really didn't remember posting most discussions, but it was like a time machine taking me back to those moments. For me, I think I was more fun and relaxed back then and I was complaining less.

Sometimes it's good to look back at where we were to see how we've changed. It's good you see the change you made even though you don't know when it happened.

I am happy to have reached at this point of my life and the past experiences including mylot helped me reach here. It is a memory box with different moments, I believe all the regular mylotters will feel the same when looking back in the past discussions.
