Poisonous Mushroom?

An hour ago, I was checking my photo files so I could organize some which I can use in my you tube channel and on my other writing sites. What I have recognized by checking my photos, was that, I have a lot of mushroom photos taken last Autumn. I wanted to compile them in a video but I should know what their names are. So, I started Googling. No wonder that there were many mushrooms I had encountered on my walk last year, I think all are poisonous. No wonder they were not eaten by the animals like sheep. One of the beautiful mushrooms is called a Death Cap or Amanita phalliodes. It is a very toxic plant. I still have to research more. Time is so fast. It is past midnight again. I have to go to bed now and will continue my research tomorrow. Of course, I am here again on Mylot, if God permits. Thank you very much and I hope you have or had a nice Thursday. See you tomorrow in your posts. Goodnight

I know what you're saying about the mushrooms. I didn't think you could eat any except the one sort but it seems there are a lot you can eat - but you have to know what you're doing.

There are many wild mushrooms that are edible. There are those though that can look very much like an edible one but are actually not edible.

@thelme55 My parents have been hunting for mushrooms since I was a little kid. I've gone with them many times. Even with that I sometimes am not sure if a certain mushroom is good to eat or not.

@lovebuglena That is true. I only buy and eat mushrooms which are sold in the supermarket.

You're doing right. You classify your mushroom pictures whether they're poisonous or not.

We don't get a lot of mushrooms here, but if we do it's poisonous white mushrooms (I don't know the name). And that seems to be common on many people's lawns out here. Animals know more about these things than we do .
