The Lovin' Spoonful is an American band formed in 1965 by John Sebastian and Zal Yonovsky. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

Two other favorites of mine are You Didn't Have to be So Nice and Summer In The City. John Sebastian who wrote most of the band's songs also wrote and sang the Theme song for the TV show with John Travolta. It was called "Welcome Back" (Kotter)
