Today is International Women's Day. I was surprised when hubby left for work this morning that he didn't wish me anything. The day is still young as they say. Perhaps he will say something to me when he comes home from work. I am not sure if hubby will surprise me with flowers or not. Perhaps I should treat myself to a small bouquet. Nothing wrong with getting yourself flowers. I wonder what to make for dinner... Wanna make something special but don't know what. I finally threw out the cabbage soup I made last Sunday. I've been eating it every day from last Sunday to Thursday. Even though I love cabbage soup there is only so many days in a row I can eat it. I gotta go and do some food shopping. There is only one egg left. I would prefer to wait for hubby to come home from work to go to the store. On the other hand, if I do that our dinner may turn out to be pretty late. And hubby may come home super hungry as Sundays he usually never eats until he gets home from work... I don't want him hangry. I want him happy.

Wow, finally a day that's intended for women like me as well ..... I used to be jealous of mom's because they get mothers day but I don't have kids so I felt left out.

@rebelann They wouldn't exist for one. And they'd probably be lost as well.

@LindaOHio He completely forgot anyway. He left the house and didn't wish me anything. Came home didn't wish me anything either. And didn't get me a single flower. So I reminded him that it was March 8th and he went and called his mom and his aunt and his grandma, etc. but still told me nothing. So I told him "you know I am a woman too." He came up to me, hugged me and kissed me, and said, "you are my woman" but he didn't wish me anything. Yesterday's holiday included all women not just mothers. That kinda hurt.
