In fact it is my first time to learn about this product https://mypatriotsupply.com/collections/emergency-survival-food Hard to believe that this food can be valid for 25 years! It is easy to prepare and it seems it taste delicious as I like something soft and juicy I think it is nutritious as it can maintain your body well.

Have you tried getting one? I am just wondering how they can be kept fresh for that long time since food usually would start to deteriorate once it is opened and exposed to the environment.

@youless I see for me its unbelievable to have them fresh for 25 years. Once you opened it up it will start to deteriorate.

No. I don't think this kind of food is available here. As we didn't have a concept for this food before.

Is it safe for consumption? I am afraid of a lot of preservatives in it.

I am sure it is safe. But I think people will get bored to eat the same food everyday.

25 years? I am not sure if it still taste nice after 20 years. One of the foods that is good for decades is honey.

The only way to prove it is to keep it for 20 to 25 years provided that you can still find it

@jstory07 I saw the video and there is an emergency food worth over USD6000 and it is enough for four people to eat for a year

@youless They wanted you to buy the emergency food but it did not work with me. I paid the shipping and got a week's worth for one person.

That thing is horriblz expensive! I am checking the prices. Canned food lasts several years I do not need to keep things for 25 years.

It is a kind of investment. Try to imagine that the food price will just keep increasing as time goes by. If you bought a lot of emergency food, such as it is enough to eat for 10 years. Then in a long term it won't seem to be expensive

@youless The price of food cannot increase during 10 years, this never happened, not even during wars.

Vacumm the dried food and this is a main reason to preserve the food for such a long time.
