I came home from work and grabbed a shower. I had stuff to do.
Hubby is too sore to put on socks and shoes himself, so I did that.
I grabbed our evening meds and off we went.
First stop, buy gas for the car.
Then pick up medicine for hubby.
Next do Wendy's drive through
and then to the library to drop a book off--while we ate our meals.
Called daughter-in-law, she was out on an errand but my son was at home, so we drove another twenty minutes, and beat her home.
We finally got to meet Paisley Kay. Our great grandbaby. She is beautiful, and tiny.
The newborn size hat I made is too large. I am working on a smaller one. She will grow into the first one. I believe she is up to 5 lb. 12 oz.
We got home after 10 pm.
The cats are inside. Hubby is in bed. I am headed there myself.

Take special care of yourself and your hubby!!! I spent part of my day canceling appointments and motel reservations. I was scheduled for injections in my neck for Thursday of this week but because of the Corona Virus and where I live I decided to put it off until the end of next month, so I get to suffer. Same thing with a pain controlling wiring that they will do in my back. (You'll get to read about all that in my complaint about pain in my discussion later...Living with pain and the political idiots) Anyhow California, where I live, is getting interesting with all the cruise ships and the quarantines and such. We were thinking we were having fun with all the 911 calls about the vehicles having accidents with the beach restrooms about 80 miles south of us. The calls were so much fun because it would come through that it was a "Vehicle VS Oceano Dunes Restroom". We would have so many giggles listening to the chatter about the accidents during the weekends and the resulting damages. No serious injuries, just rattled toilet users.
Anyhow be careful about crowds and have plenty of hand sanitizer with you and stay well. OH!!!! And hug the cats for me!!!! Petey says "MEOW HI".

Lots of craziness in this world. Tink thinks he is still little and will try to sit with all four of his big ole feet in my hand and hug on me. Mickey is quieter, more experienced but also a cuddler when he takes a notion. Hi to Petey from all of us.

@GardenGerty When I told Petey you and all your "people" in your home said hello he sat up very straight and tall and started purring with a very happy look on his kitty face. His tail kind of waived back and forth as if he was waving "Howdy" back. He loves when people says hello to him, but he doesn't curl up with just anyone. He's fairly selective about who he cuddles with. You've made the cut from the expression on his face and his body language.
Petey is kind of like Tink and will try to sit with all four of his big mud hooks in my hand. It doesn't work to say the least. Thankfully I can catch him before he falls too far. I carefully put him down because when he pulls one of his bone head moves like trying to sit in my hand like he did when he was tiny, he is very embarrassed and wants to go somewhere where he can snooze away the embarrassment. So I carefully put him down and let him go to one of his favorite napping spots for the afternoon.
Then after our dinner I let him in the house...and he very promptly pulls a bone head move that has both Bill and I laughing like crazy. Petey will crawl up on the back of the couch where I have a piece of fake fur laid out for him and he'll curl up on it and snooze (and snore) for a couple of hours until it's time for him to go outside for the night. I'll give him some kitty treats to help erase the embarrassment from the bone headed move and let him go outside for the night to work off the clumsiness.
