This is when I confess I´m old.

My Daughter Claudia called me first to tell me to hide. I wrote about that in a post. But then my other daughter told me that the school where Vicente and Sofía study had 2 cases of COVID-19. These are children whose parents work with people from other countries. It seems that people with a higher economic and social level here are in a greater risk of getting it. Claudia decided not to send her kids to school until all this goes away. I told her that intelligent children could skip school for a while. Then I called Humberto and Dixie and they both told me to cancel the doctor´s appointment I had for Wednesday. I have had 2 years trembling hands. That could wait. Dixie work in one of the best Medical Centers in Chile. They sent everyone a memo saying that they should have caution with older people (Humberto, Dixie and I). It seems that no young people die from the COVID-19. Old people do and it is exponencial. (several 4 letter words please!!!!)

Yes, seniors like us have to be careful so we would escape contamination. Just stay at home and we are safe.

Seniors are the most fragile and it is better not to go to hospitals for sure. We are inside because the authorities asked to stay home, it's pretty bad here.

O just cancelled my appointment with the neurologist. I have problems with my fingers for some time. Two or 3 month will not do much.

Oh dear. That is getting a bit too close to home for comfort. I'm sure you're doing all you can to stay safe.

I think that Claudia must not take her children to school. But I can visit with my few and clean friends.

That's very concerning. Best keep yourself at home as much as you can. We are elderly too and are being cautious. Stay safe and healthy.

Definitely seniors and people with medical history are more at risk. I am in my forty but I have a long history of diabetes and I was under a medical treatment for last one and half years. That took a big toll on my health and immunity. My doctor called me to be away and in home.

I agree. I´m 74 AND I have a lymphoma on remission. I will always have my defenses down.
