Enjoying the Safety at Home

I have read somewhere online of people saying that they would be getting crazy to stay at home the whole week or even more. Those were mainly women who have the problem to stay longer than a day at home because of the coronavirus.
I don´t have this problem because I love being at home especially when the weather is bad. Only the sun can inspire me to go out but it is seldom happening these days.
There are many things to do for me being at home besides writing online and reading. There are many household chores that are waiting for me to be done that I keep on postponing. Like cleaning the inside of my kitchen cupboards, cleaning and getting rid of the things I no longer use which are in my living room shelves and cupboards. I am even thinking of changing the wall paper of my kitchen by my own.
See, I will not get bored at all. How about you? Do you have many things to do when your social life is cut off?
I am missing the bonding time with my friends and so I hope what we are going through now worldwide will be put to an end.

@hereandthere You're right, this virus has reached Jakarta and we can't distinguish between the flu and Corona. Hopefully the virus won't hitch a ride on me.

@May2k8 we can't avoid going out if we really have to. what's important is we protect ourselves while we're out and clean up as soon as we get home.

We don't get out except for doctors' appointments; so the closings don't bother me much EXCEPT we had planned on going out to eat tonight; and all the restaurants have been closed except for take-out. :-(

@thelme55 likewise, however being a public servant I must report to work every day. The social services must continue. But weekend unless called to office like what happened last weekend I just stay home. After work I go home immediately because office ends at 6 and curfew starts at 8.

You can still go out for a walk alone in an empty place like a forest or park @DocAndersen. I will be doing that when the weather is good and inviting me to go out in the woods.

i understand not everyone likes being cooped up at home, but they shouldn't do irresponsible things, either, like escaping when they are supposed to be in quarantine just because they're bored.

Wow! Looks like you'll not really get bored staying in your house! Us? Well, this is our 2nd day of our home quarantine. How do we find it? Great! We now have longer meal time, meaning more sharing of stories; we attended an online Mass (yesterday), while facing our Altar. Twas so solemn. This pm, I cooked our merienda! A task I stopped doing since I got sick & got worse by the day. Looking forwatd to more "new", because of this pandemic.

It happened already that I didn´t go out for 2 weeks. Just out in our balcony smelling the fresh air @KnehKnah. It is nice to have much time with our family at home, sharing stories together while eating. I think you are doing great there. We will just hope and pray that this pandemic will be over soon.
