Well I did it!

Canada

I ventured out and got my food and supplies. The shelves weren't really that bad, in all honesty. There was plenty of food, aside from canned items, I couldn't get a lot of that. Toilet Paper was another story, the only bag they had was over $30. No thank you. I'll figure something else out. I have enough in the house for now. The crowd wasn't too bad, and I kept my distance as much as I possibly could. but I noticed people are still finding ways to block the aisle while practicing social distancing which makes the block even worse, and some of them refused to move at times it was frustrating. I came home, put away the groceries and cleaned my house top to bottom. I'll probably do it again tomorrow. However, now my province has declared a State of Emergency. So, things here are probably going to get worse, so glad I got my stuff today. Now it's time for me to do some studying and work a bit on my novel.

Why would a store sell toilet paper for that much, unless it was like 30 or more rolls pack? That's so wrong.

@lovebuglena It's $30 CAD so it would only be about about $20 US give or take a bit.

@indiandevil Not sure what triples is but for 16 rolls it seems expensive. But then again you are from Canada... so maybe it's not when you do currency conversion.

I'm glad that you were able to get some of things you needed. I have been cleaning today as well waiting for the thunderstorms to come in.

Oh, thunderstorms are always fun. I actually like it when it thunders here, I turn everything off and just listen.

I think toilet paper is non-existent anywhere. The ones I saw for around $30, there was only about 5 bags left.

The shelves are bare in the stores here.
