Spring is Here + Lawnmowers

Lawnmowers and blowers. Yep the new house residents picked today to start the grass cutting. Spring is here, so it is the season for mowing your grass. I just do not like the noise. But it is what it is.
It was nice to see kids out on their bikes and scooters earlier today. I know they, and the parents, are going a little crazy being inside with all the rain.
Oh well, gotta try out their new mowers I suppose. So much for my peace and quiet. Back inside for me.
The Dude even came in with me. He decided to join Brendel for their daily nap.
In the meantime, I will be indoors turning the music up a little.

I'm sure our neighbor will start cutting our grass soon. I'm worried about the other house though. They could cancel our insurance if the grass gets too high.

@CarolDM Carol, I bring this stuff up; and most of the time he doesn't even respond. I don't know what else to do. :-(

We have a big yard, and it is on a hill. This lawnmower would not be good for us. We have the one which you have to push. It takes me 2,5-3 hours to complete the mowing.

@CarolDM And I have to do it once per week, or twice a month, depending on how much rain we have.

@CarolDm Oh how I hate the noise of other people's gardening equipment! Our neighbour who is now past gardening employs people to come and use very whiny machinery three times week to keep his garden looking just perfect - in his eyes. They are there for hours trimming hedges and lawns and the poor grass doesn't even get the chance to recuperate from a cutting before they're at it again. And the man never even goes out in his garden. It really does spoil a nice quiet day in the garden. As for me, I prefer a more natural look and I'm not into all that cutting and trimming and pruning - let the garden take care of itself I say. It probably offends next door no end!!

That surely is a sign spring is coming. Our lawn company was here the other day raking out the flower beds and getting ready for spring. Pretty soon we'll be listening to those mowers too.
