My store was out of chamomile tea

I went to my grocery store for Twinings chamomile tea. The 20 tea bag pack I get was sold out. And I did not see any other brand of chamomile tea either. I kept looking and then finally found my brand but it was a 50 tea bag pack. It was $7.39. It seemed expensive but because the 20-pack costs $3.49, it seemed that the price per tea bag was cheaper for the large pack. I decided to get it. It doesn't spoil and will last for a while.

Yes, except I wasn't planning on spending that much that day.

Yesterday what I missed from the supermarket was Coke in can, the classic that I regularly buy. What they have was Zero and Light. No way, I don't drink zero or light, they are only for the elders, waheehee. So we proceeded to another supermarket that I was lucky to buy 2 cases of Coke.

@lovebuglena I wonder why the regular Coke is missing in the stores. Not only in that supermarket but almost in any other supermarkets according to my friends.

@Alexandoy Because people are buying it in large quantities like everything else.

Glad you found it. I never get anything but the regular. No diet, lite, or zero, etc. for me.

I hope that will not be the case. I wonder about toilet paper. When will that come back?

@much2say Someone went to the store and they were actually low on food stuff but were stocked with toilet paper. I was shocked to hear that.

@moffittjc Our governor says it will not end any time soon. Can last 4-9 months.

True. But at the same time wasn't planning on spending as much as I did. My shopping trip cost me about $28 and in the end there was nothing to make dinner out of. I bought the tea, two cherry pastries, two different cartons of farmer cheese, some onion, 2 bell peppers and eggs.

@LindaOHio From one farmer cheese I will make syrniki (aka patties). The other one I have with coffee and jam.

@lovebuglena You'd better eat some cheese and eggs!

It is much cheaper this way, so you will have tea for longer for less money.

As you say, the tea will keep and you won't need to worry about getting any now for a good while.

Yep. And we have a variety of teas so I won't be drinking it every day. It should last for more than a month for sure.

I notice that people are grabbing anything now even stuff that usually goes begging on shelves.

I find that too. Usually the Goya beans section is pretty stocked. Now pretty much nothing there.

Yeah. Seemed like a good tea. Two packs of 20 would be $6.98 so for like only 40 or so cents more I get 10 extra bags by buying the pack of 50.

I like the taste. And good for the tummy. Some don't like its taste. Too herbal.
