A day of gourmet food yesterday

Yesterday for breakfast hubby and I had black caviar sandwiches with hard boiled eggs and cucumbers on the side.
Our dinner was filet mignon fried in a cast iron skillet and asparagus made in a Staub grill pan.
We also had chocolate cheese bars and honey buns for dessert.
A very gourmet day of being stuck at home.
What was on your menu yesterday?

Yep. Wish the sandwiches had a lot more black caviar than they did though.
I like to pile it on.

My daughter and I had sushi for dinner last night. It turns out she is quite good at making it.

I love sushi. Never tried making it though. Was it vegetarian sushi or with fish?

Sounds delicious! I don't remember when I had prime rib. But rack of lamb was fairly recent.

I had a fried Spam Lite sandwich. Certainly not gourmet.

There is no way we'd have any of that in our house normally. Good for you. I'm envious.

Black caviar in our house is very rare. Even red one we don't eat very often. Even though we love both.
