Some Evening Rambles.

Hello, hello, hello, everyone. I'm planning to post my usual challenges, but I wanted to post something besides those. So I'm just going to ramble for a bit, and it's not going to be a short post.
Work has been slow on Textbroker since yesterday. There are orders, but not many, and not many that catch my eye right now (though if it's like this next week, I'll just have to take what I can get). I focused on my Fiverr work yesterday, and finished up a big project with one of my regular clients. He has an even bigger project for me, and since the order was already placed/accepted, I'm going to be starting it on Sunday or Monday. It's a big pay, and it takes 14 days for it to clear, so I want to finish it as soon as possible.
I have an order for another regular client on Fiverr, which I opted not to work on last night. I knew it'd be slow today, so I thought I'd save it for this evening, so I can feel like I did something productive. I'm going to start on it once I'm finished with this post. It's a smaller weekly order, and it shouldn't take all that long to do. I'm not sure where my other weekly client has been these last two weeks, but I hope she's well.
I sat out front for a bit today. I wanted to go for a walk but that didn't happen, so my niece and I sat on our front steps and people watched lol. It was interesting to see how people were using the park to exercise (other than the usual jogging), and I'm glad to say they all seemed to keep their distance from one another. We still have a long way to go, as I think this is going to be our "normal" for a while, but I'm just glad to see people actually social distancing when getting some fresh air. I haven't been to any stores since last week, so I can't really say how those have been.
So I've decided to unplug again tomorrow, much like I did last Friday. It's good to step away from the constant news from all directions, plus the usual negativity that comes from having so many personalities in one spot (mainly thinking of Twitter with that one). I may be online later that evening, but not during the day, though I'll make an acception for Pinterest and maybe my Instagram stories, but that's it. I'm mainly going to focus on offline stuff. I'd like to go for a walk to get some fresh air (before today, and other than the backyard, I haven't been outside since last Friday), but I think it's supposed to be cooler and rainy, so I'm nixing that. I do have a puzzle of Times Square to put together though lol.
Oh, and I'm turning off work mode for the day. Even on other days off, I'm still checking the work sites and notifications. Last Friday, I didn't do that, and I'm repeating it again tomorrow. I think once the madness is over, I'll continue to unplug and turn off work mode once a week, as it was a part of my 2020 goals. It took a quarantine to force me into doing that.
Alrighty, I'm going to wrap this up so I can get my work done, and then if things aren't picked up, I'll just focus on MyLotting and put the laptop away a little early tonight. Take care, everyone.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thanks! It's been going well, and probably necessary for more than just virus/media reasons.

I have been outside some during times when it is not raining. I am tired, I think from lack of activity. Now that school is behind me for the year most likely, I will have to work on other things more.

Haven't been outside in a week since I started working from home. I will be going out later to run some errands. I really want for things to go back to normal but it will take a while.

@tmosby @allen0187 Yesterday was the first time I had gone anywhere in a week. I doubt I'm going anywhere this week unless I need to pick something up.
The cases are rising here in Maryland, and people being stupid and holding bonfires of 60 people isn't helping. I'm so sick of being selfish with this.

@tmosby When I think of social media, I think of Facebook and Twitter and the other things out there that waste a person's time.
Yes, myLot is social media with a difference. People don't go around bashing one another, there isn't any vulgarity with every other word. People are plain nice, and you earn here. You don't earn on those other sites. They just take your time without giving anything back in return.
No, we shouldn't get rid of myLot.
