The streets have been taken by the animals.

I think I wrote about the 2 pumas that came to town for a visit here. One was sighted and captured on Wednesday. The last one was seen roaming near Claudia´s house. Everyone said that as the habitat of mountain lions was also the plains, they had come down as there was no noise due to the quarantine. Today I saw the same in the news in other places. There were penguins in Banks, deer in the streets. I even saw a boar. I don´t know where was that because I was cooking while the news began. But it is not that the streets have been taken by the animals really. This shows only that we have taken their homes. What do you think about this?

With the towns and streets being empty of people, those animals are no longer afraid to roam around.

@marguicha That's how it is where we live. This subdivision use to be forest, where the animals could freely run.

Definitely agree with you. Humans have encroached on the habitat of animals. They are merely taking what was originally theirs.

@marguicha true but the animals are as much as in danger as us humans.

@allen0187 In general, I wholly agree with you. But but dumb eldest daughter decided to hide from the COVID-19 in the mountains. I don´t want her to come across a puma or a wild boar.

I think that wild animals do not have very much habitat left so they are coming into human encampments and honestly I do not blame them, what else can they do really?

There is no doubt in my mind that we have overtaken their areas @marguicha . Destroying their habitats to build for the overpopulation of humans.

Not quite. At least here, the 2 pumas were finally captured. I don´t know where they took them. The other pictures I saw yesterday were, I think, from the northern hemisphere.

Man has displaced thousands of animals over the years. It's sad really.

I don't disbelieve it at all but I find it a bit incredible that the animals have been so quick to move back in to residential areas.

I saw it in the news. And I vouch for the 2 pumas who came to my city. One was near Claudia´s house and she had to go to her house with a guy.

It is an odd sight to see animals on the streets in your nation. It does happen in my nation from time to time.

I had never heard of that where I live. This is the biggest city in my country. But when I was a child, the part of the city where I live was just part of the Andes mountains nearby. We have taken over land that belonged to other creatures
