The principal at Saint Joseph Elementary School in Bardstown Kentucky admitted that she received an idea in an online article that one elderly patient who was in a hospital needed to contact a relative since social distancing is required during the coronavirus crisis at this time.
The principal and the pastor of the elementary school took the view that due to this emergency, the patients who are currently in hospitals and nursing homes need to speak to their relatives via an Ipad at this time.
The donations of the iPads were delivered to several nursing homes in three counties in the area to make it easier for patients to speak to their relatives.
It is very sweet of the principal and pastor at the elementary school to think of people in need at this time since they will be blessed at a later time.

It is very thoughtful of them. I do hope someone can help them learn to use an Ipad. It is important to keep safely in contact with our family and other loved ones.

That Is true since the need to stay in contact with loved ones during this crisis is paramount to have some peace of mind.

@Deepizzaguy It certainly would, wouldn't!? But above all, it would speak to their Corporate Social Responsibility policy - that's if they have it!

The nursing home where my mother resides provides us with contact through FaceTime. Thankfully I have an iPhone because that is the platform they use.
There are a couple of LNA's that use their phones to keep us all in touch. I am ever grateful for that.
Doubtful that some of the residents who have memory issues would be able to use a tablet, but the staff could help connect them with their loved ones.

I agree with you since it is better to give than receive.

It is sad that there are those that do not care about anyone but themselves.

I agree with you since a Christian school is doing God's work by assisting the needy patients.

I agree with you since the pastor and principal know that down the line they will be blessed from God Himself and His servants.
