1871 - Royal Albert Hall in London is opened by Queen Victoria.
1882 - The Knights of Columbus is established.
1940 - Astrud Gilberto was born. She is a Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer. She became famous in the 1960s for her recording of The Girl from Ipanema.
2016 - Patty Duke passed away. Born in 1946, she was an American actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Helen Keller in the movie The Miracle Worker, for which she earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was 15 at the time. She is also known for her role as cousins Cathy and Patty Lane on the TV sitcom The Patty Duke Show.

@lovebuglena I think DC is where they have the wall monument...I suppose it could be. I tried to find it online but kept coming up with the wall memorial.
